Wall of Fame Inductee for 2009 - TERRY McCOY
Terry McCoy has filled many shoes in the shag world. If he
could dance 24 hours a day, he would. Always in the top 20 attendance yearly,
his feet are on the dance floor every Tuesday night. Terry has coordinated
functions and taught shag lessons at the Fine Arts Center. He has planned may
parties benefiting both the Camden Shrine Club and CLASS. Being our president
for the last four years, he has kept our club up to date with SOS at Ocean Drive
and throughout our state. Another charity he has taken on is Toys for Tots with
O.D. Shag Club. For the last three years he created our CLASS party at DJ
Throwdown. Terry's desire to involve Jr. Shaggers and others in shag keeps our club,
informed, and continually growing. For someone who started out on the female
step, YOU HAVE COME A LONG WAY BABY.
Wall of Fame Inductee for 2009 - RAY AMYETTE Ray Amyette has been on our board and a staunch supported for all our programs. He is one of our weekly rotating DJ’s, willing to play your song and take his turn when called upon, and one of our Top 20 in weekly attendance. Oh, how we appreciate him as chairman of our annual fund raiser, CLASS BLAST. He enthusiastically took on the responsibility for the planning and management of our largest function. He has molded this into a first class event with funds going to local groups. Here’s to our FUNKY WHITE BOY and CRY, CRY BABY crooner. |
